A Navajo tapestry Diamond Twill balanced weave with fringes. This was a study of spacing and materials for the upcoming house of the butterfly shawl and it was surprising quick to weave. I suppose someone could sew a lining into it and create a bag. The technique was mainly used for saddle girths and Baby carrying straps in the late 19th century.

Hand woven and spun. Every design is fabricated one at a time and there will be slight variations in every piece that makes it unique. This is true even among one design.
