I spent a month in Scotland and learned about wool plaids and tweeds. Using fine single plies this shawl is a fun blend of buffalo checks and Navajo striped motifs. As i was also watching my mother weaving this as she transitioned into hospice i now will weave this pattern in honor of caregivers and may they find warmth and support as these throws have provided others. Thank you.
