Art nouveau was one of the more successful design movements of the late 19th century to become commercial successful. The visual style rode the wave of Post Victorian industrial boom trying to merge the design of natural into the industrial, architectural and fashion. Many of Horta’s buildings use wrought iron twisted and bend into vine like structures that almost seem as if the metal was once a plant. This bracelet takes after those structures.
